What a wonderful service this is! They are super responsive, extremely detailed, and very caring. I highly recommend Valley Pet Sitting – they took wonderful care of our pets, plants and house and they kept us updated daily. We will definitely use them in future!!!

Shira and Valley Pet Sitting were unbelievably amazing the few times I have used them. I was worried about hiring a pet sitter, because my dog had some special needs that I felt like would scare off any reasonable person, He was highly anxious and really didn’t like strangers (or gardeners, or other dogs, or leaves that would blow by him… he was a little neurotic…) However, once he made friends with people, he was a sweet dog who was super into playing. During our first phone call I explained to Shira that I was worried that he would be too much to handle, so we set up a meet and greet with three of the dog walkers so that if at any point one couldn’t do it, my dog would always know the person coming to the house. (I don’t remember their names, because I only met them once, but they were all wonderful!) When they arrived they were spectacular with my dog, letting him get to know them, playing with him, and making him feel at ease around all of them. And in the few times we had them come to walk our dog, I got updates, pictures, and long explanations of how well everything went. Valley Pet Sitting goes far above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that pet owners feel at ease leaving their dogs in someone else’s hands. When I got home my dog seemed completely happy and much less anxious than if I had left him alone all day.

Also, Shira came through for us on a last minute appointment which was amazing. All of my interactions with Valley Pet Sitting have been positive, and they really made me feel comfortable leaving my dog, and knowing that he was in completely capable hands.

This weekend was the second time we used Valley Pet Sitting and again, couldn’t be happier. This time Sammy was the sitter. I love the fact that my husband and I, as well as our Lab, Teddy, get to meet any new potential sitter in advance of the job. Teddy immediately bonded with Sammy and after walking Sammy through the house and explaining what we needed to have done, we felt a comfort level with him as well. Not only is it invaluable for us to have an overnight sitter we can trust for our big baby, but knowing there will be someone in the house while we are away really allows us to enjoy our vacations without the added worry of leaving an empty home. I look forward to the morning and evening Teddy updates everyday, as well as the pictures that are sent. For anyone wanting an alternative to putting their pets in a kennel, and let’s face it, it is so much better to keep one’s pets in their home environment around their things than to have them in a kennel, I can’t recommend Valley Pet Sitting enough!
